When:
Here we are 4 years later!
We opened our doors in May of 2006. How fortunate we are to have family and so many friends helping us bring our dream to fruition.
Where:
After months of looking for the perfect setting for our shop, we chose this wonderful building at the foot of Garrison Hill.
Then, after months of renovation, we were open.
Visit the shop Tuesday-Friday 10am--5pm
Saturday 10am--4pm
Closed Sunday and Monday unless you see our cars at the shop! That means we are there working and if we are there, we are open, so come on in.
The Shop
Now, if you are driving by and haven't yet visited...do stop in. Guaranteed you will be pleasantly surprised when you enter. Lots and lots of fabric, books, notions and gifts. Look up at the many wonderful quilts that are on display. You will be greeted with a warm welcome and there is lots of conversation to go around.
Bring the hubby or significant other. There are comfy wicker chairs for waiting and almost always a pot of coffee on!
Finding Us
If you're using a GPS to locate us here is a suggestion:
use "Garrison Hill Quilt Shop, 30 Oak Street, Dover"
For some reason, some tracking systems use a myriad of side streets to get to us. The Oak Streeet address will get you our front door without the scenic route!!
Us
A retired nurse and a retired mailman. What a combo! Actually, Tom was really, really retired. Donna decided to retire from the medical field to persue her lifelong dream of bringing her passion for fabric and quilting into a local quilt shop.
Tom has developed quite an eye for color and is frequently called upon to assist a quilter with finding the best blue or the perfect pink to finish off their project. Donna will most often be found at the Gammill creating some wonderful quilt design on one of the many customer quilts she completes each month.
